A function was held in the college hall to greet the old students of the institution. At this occasion many old students were present in the function. The prominent personalities like S.Surinder Singh, Executive Director West, FCI and Mr.Tilak Raj Sharma, Distt. Manger FCI, Colnel A.K. Gautam etc, who are the old students of the institution graced the occasion with their presence. Throwing the light in his life, Mr. Surinder Singh, in his speech shared that he belonged to a very poor family and it was Khalsa College, Garhdiwala where he managed to get his graduation degree by the economic help by a clerk of the college. He saluted the worthy teachers of the institution with a special mention of Prof. S.P. Arora (Department of English) and Prof. Sraup Singh (Department of Mathematics). He said that he is indebted to his alma-mater Garhdiwala. Being a rural area, scope of education was dim before the establishment of Khalsa College. S. Surinder also requested the OSA to financially contribute for the development of the college.

Then Mr. Tilak Raj Sharma, secretary of old students association also delivered his speech on the occasion. He promised to provide any type of assistance to the institution from time to time. In the end, Principal thanked the dignified personalities for the precise time they called out of their busy schedule for the function.

The main aim of the association is to develop cordial relationship between College and old students and to share experience of mutual growth & achievement in various fields. To fulfill this purpose, time to time alumni meeting & re-unions are organized in the college campus. Now, old students can get in touch with the college whenever they want to, and from wherever they are.

The alumni, students, employers, community and the College together seek to give a lot by building mutually beneficial and enduring relationships; and the College is committed to take its alumni relations programme to a new level.
