Mathematics department has been serving this college since the inception of the college. The department offers UG programme i.e. B.A, B.Sc., BCA and B.Sc. (Agriculture). The teachers of the department try to solve the problems of the students regarding their concerned subject. They try to teach according to their level of understanding. For the purpose of teaching chalk board methods and smart class rooms are used. Weekly tests are conducted to assess the knowledge of the students and for the preparation of the exams.

          The department has formed “Ramanujan Mathematical Society”. Under this society, extension lectures are organized. The deptt. also organizes powerpoint presentations every year in which students compete with each other by presenting their PPTs on various topics of mathematics. The deptt. has its own Book Bank, where needy students can avail books for every session. The students got selected in Navy, Punjab Police and in various Govt. jobs.
